VERNS QUICK COMMENT PANEL..."The problem with my blog page is getting round to writing it! As everyone knows, I  only average 4 hours sleep a night sometimes less on or near the festive season, I'm always rushed off my feet! Here's the latest I have until I finally put the dog out for the night, turf out all the people who don't want to go home and put the lights out. Goodnight to you"

KARAOKE AT THE BULLS HEAD!

VERNS BLOG HELLO TO YOU!

Following some great theme nights during the last quarter which included Vernon dressed as St. George rescuing various damsels in distress and said Guvnor dressed as a Second World War Nurse saving most of Britain with a fiery kiss of life. The seams on his stockings were perfect. Everything went well until a doodle bug took out the car park wall which has recently been repaired by Bodgit and Scarper, Terr Sankey and Alan Golding. (see below)

We continued with a Thai evening where the customers enjoyed exquisite Thai food cooked by our very own Thai chef, Ang and Vernon (Anger management, more like..ed.) who then considered and marked the customers versions of the Bridge over the River Quai made from 5 inch coffee stirrers. Then came the Greek evening with dishes from Amanda and Erica and the task was to build a replica of the Parthenon. (....is that a restaurant on the Old Kent Road, next to the Dun Cow? Why would you want a replica of that?...ed.)

The South East England Falconry Club continue to meet here on the last Wednesday of the month.  Las week they brought with them a 3 week old Barn Owl and this time a Bald Eagle (as shown) The next one is the French Night on Saturday 10th July. Look out for the Mussels! (and the garlic that will literally blow your head off!...ed.)

The Seaford twelve thumb  a lift after their coach blew up on the jolly boys outing. Notice the old chesnut 'V' sign behind the head..the old classics never die, do they?

The famous W! (Looks like the Waterstones logo  to me!...Ed.) and Vernons amazing 16th century hobbit clock maker's shoes in the background make this shot absolutely priceless.

"That's it, squeeze me on the edge of the web page Vern, Ya shellfish Sod...ere..anybody

got a copy of Sue's

book I can borrow?"

First I was afraid, I was petrified...but now,

I really enjoy the amazing spectacle of

Karaoke at The Bulls Head on a Saturday night . Everyone involved has such a great time, so if you havent done this before you should come along, let your hair down and murder as many modern day classic as you like, to loud appreciative applause! Amazing!

For the upcoming Karaoke nights, click on the Whats on Guide page, and make a date of those notes!

Two Beautiful Young Ladies sing their hearts out...in spite of being just an arms length from the toilet doors. I will survive? well, till the end of this song at least...

SUE'S SPOT

"Come, Come, come and make eyes at me down at the launch of me book,  da da da da da..."

VERN'S

MOOD IS

JOLLY

"Don't you dare lend this awful little man a copy of my book...he'll have to buy one like everyone else!"

The Bald Eagle waits patiently

at the bar to get served. Note the grinning background punter who's also in the queue, and has seen birds get the hump on more than one occasion waiting at the bar...

THIS ISN'T IT...

COMPETITION TIME

WIN!! The fantastic, memorable prize of a LIFETIME! A lift home with The fabulous CULT 45'S (Long as it's on a Friday they're playing!) in their famous CULTMOBILE Fiat van gig traveller..complete with built-in sleepover beds, and other fancy stuff!...(like...what fancy stuff?...ed.)

'All in all it's just another brick out the wall....'

Some readers have said this is actually Dr. Who's Tardis from the 1960's

which broke through the wall in an attempt to get William Hartnell a pint of real English ale.
