The last game of the 2010 / 2011 season being played at Lullingstone.  Here Richard, John and Arthur are looking for Vernon’s ball as he does not seem to be in the picture.  They might have tried looking a little closer! The day was won by Scott Stevens.

The final merit table showed Rob Mason to be the supreme champion of the season and as such was awarded the ill fitting famous ‘Red Jacket’.  This has been specifically manufacture to cover the sizes from SMALL through to XXXL.

A steam train that I travelled on in Cornwall.

My darling Dawn has bought me a day driving a steam train as an anniversary present.  This takes place in early October and I shall tell you all about it later.

LEFT: Japanese theme evening showing the tables decorates before the destruction.  Beautiful, delicate food with wonderful aromatic flavours.  Huge thanks to Sachi who led the cooking team and of course to Amanda and Erica.

The winning Effort...

Golf Beano day at Seaford.  Following a full breakfast at The Bulls head we got down to a game of cards and a few bottles of beer on the back of the coach whilst the front read their copies of the Times, The Telegraph, The Guardian (and 1 member had The Sun)

Relief from the above as a required break is taken on the return following a great day of golf which was won by Dave Cromwell.

Dawn and myself were invited to tea at Buckingham Palace in August which was a great honour.  It was to do with charity monies that we have raised over a period of time.  We had a lovely time just relaxing and taking in the atmosphere.  The first photograph shows Dawn on the steps of the terrace leading into the garden. On the middle picture, Notice the crest on the little cake!  We found that if you held your cup instead of placing it on the saucer you could get more food on the plate. The last picture is Looking from the garden towards the back of the Palace.  A wonderful day.

Caribbean evening.  Once again great food and great fun.  Mask and head dress building was the order of the day.  The winning mask (being the night prior to the carnival) went to Jen Gosnell who thought that lifting a glass was far too much trouble and so having the reservoir of rum buried in the hat with a straw was far more sensible.
