......Vernon's performance at the Beer Festival two years ago? Dear oh Dear...at the end of three days solid drinking, no sleep, and arranging the food, confusion set in when Vern tried to eat Shiraz's hind leg instead of his home cooked lamb, then on the very last night, drunk all the dregs left in the barrels, underwent a complete personality change, suddenly felt rough as a dog, swearing at everyone, and lurching around singing excerpts from 'The Gondoliers' then threatened to 'slipper the backside" off anyone who tried to stop him. Shocking, but, generally good clean fun.

NEW BAT AND TRAP TALES!
Bat and Trap is well under way this year with new shirts and the likes of the following making inroads into the first division. A mixed bag of results to date although the team is being well led by Rob ‘The Strone’ Stone. He leads the batting statistics at the moment but has never been known for his staying power. Spike took six wickets recently in one match which is a record for The Bulls Head.
